BEIJING (Reuters) - The yuan should remain stable even as disputes about the exchange rate grow increasingly sharp, China's customs administration said on Friday.

The U.S. strategy for promoting exports pose a threat to China's goal of maintaining its global market share, it said in a statement on its website.

The statement was the Chinese customs administration's official response to the government's work report delivered at the on-going annual session of parliament.
